28 Day FAST

Ok so I might as well just get it all over with in one month!!!! LOL!!
So here's the deal! I have a great discipline!!! WHEN I WANT!!! And to be perfectly honest right now I REALLY DON'T WANT TO!!! :0) When I want to do something or make a goal I know I totally can do it, but lately I feel well how should I say this... BLAH BLAH BLAH about it... BUT it just is coming to a point where really I either need to DO IT..... or DONT and SHUT UP ALREADY!!

So I have decided to take a 28 day fast of SPENDING MONEY!!!!!

Jon and I honestly have never made so little in our 10 years of being together...BUT it is ENOUGH to make end meet. And we are for sure blessed that He is employed with such a great Job. We have about $300 to spare at the the end of each month... (well actually i should say WE SHOULD have $300) But we never do.. and I actually take MOST of the blame!!! Running here and there picking up a "deal" here and a "deal" there actually makes it more of a black hole where all my $300 went! :( Jon and I went on a date night on Friday (which I actually blame my sister in law Sherilyn for...by giving me a glimpse of how great date nights are and how much we have been missing.... SO THANKS ALOT SHERILYN!!!!) (JUST KIDDING)
So we went out Friday night and it was AWESOME!!!! We did Happy Hour Sushi for $1.50 and our whole fantastic dinner was $23.00 then we went to a Cupcake house and had a little cupcake (Ok for those of you also following my weigh in.. YES.... that was my cheat night) So out total for our dinner was $25.00 well our Babysitter cost $30! so that was a $50 night for us. BUT we have not put that in the budget for twice a month....Cause seriously going almost a year without a date night is just way to long! ANYWAYS let me get back on track! So we can make it. We really can.... sadly it won't be with bells and whistles which honestly I enjoy....... or just a little extra room to play with.. So this is why I decided going on my 28 day fast of spending. I have asked my soon to be 5 year old to be my accountability partner. As you know Caid has a TOTAL obsession with money and he is no board with the spending freeze!

So here is to 28 days!!!!! Starting tomorrow.... So I guess I will go out tonight and get everything I "NEED" today!!!! LOL

Pet of the Year!

Well today we got a pet!!!! And from the looks of things this is MY KIND OF PET!!!
Abbie and Caid decided to pool their money together and get fish! And I must say they did a very economical job! So here are the picks of Abbie's new fish "Blue Jean" and Caid's fish "Sharky"

So we had this super fun day running around getting the perfect set up for their perfect fish...................and about an hour ago Abbie started throwing up!!!!! :(
And not just once,twice or three times either......... double :(
Just praying that she gets better and that this doesn't go to the rest of the kids so we can stay flu free for Caids Bday on Tuesday!!!

The Weight of the WORLD

Ok peeps... so here I go getting all personal on you!!! LOL!!!
So my weight has creeped back up again... NO WHERE like it was when I was PREGGO and the aftermath of! BUT... I still have these 14lbs that have LINGERED for almost 4 years!!!!! Having 3 babies in 3 years took its toll on the ol' bodio' not that I was a size 4 to start but you get the point! Weight for me has ALWAYS ALWAYS been a struggle and sometimes I felt it was more of a struggle for other than for myself!!! But nonetheless it is what it is. I have some poundage to lose! So here are some of my reasoning for gettin it done! My #1 reason is of course health. Being adopted I have NO family history what so ever so like my Doctor tells me every time I see her you have to think IT ALL RUNS IN YOUR FAMILY! and for sure by taking care of myself and being more healthy! #2 for the kids!!! NOT just because I don't want to be the "FAT" mom... I want to be able to be totally active and be able to be on the go...... which I think I am anyways.... kinda hard not too.but still you get the point ALSO when I am working out my kids are happier cause I am happier! I struggled alot and bad with post pardum with all my babies.... and as soon as that started to take over I hit the gym hard and it definitely helped balance me! #3 A happy wife is a happy life...and that is all I am going to say about that!!! :0)

Anyways... So earlier this week I emailed my Aunt to get some tips about what she was doing and how.... She has lost a lot of weight and looks fabulous!!!! ;0) So she is doing something right for sure!!! So I gathered her facts and some from some websites and got my plan together.... the next day I was catching up on my blogging which as you well know I have been out of the loop for a couple of weeks. AND LOW AND BEHOLD.... I see my friend Jeana's blog and read it. For those of you that are interested in this story you can keep reading for those that aren't you can skip ahead..although I don't know why you wouldn't want to hear this!!! :0) I met my friend Jeana hmmmmmm in 1996...???( I think) I worked at a camp during the summers near Seattle and this was my first year and I returned for the next couple years as well. and Jeana was there as well............ Jeana is my FABULOUS CRAFTY TALENTED SINGING KINDHEARTED LOVES PEOPLE AND LOVE JESUS FRIEND.... AND I HEART HER!!! So we actually met up over Christmas Break for the first time in prob 12 years!!!! And we live 1 1/2 hrs away from each other!!!! But for me it really was just like picking up right where we left off....although we added husbands and kid to the mix..... :0) So there is the back story on Jeana... so where was I...OH YES!! I read her blog and here is what it said!!!

Catchin Up

So I am catching up on my blogging!!!! It has been a while!!! My camera is broke!!! VERY SAD!! So the pics that I have been taking are with my phone and not the best quality but you get the picture!

We have had my mom's dog while they are away on the east coast for 5 weeks.. Let me tell you! This has been an adventure!!! So we went out and bought some doggie soap cause this doggie was stinky..and Zeke and I with a little help from Lola helped make his smell much better!!!!

Caiden has been VERY into LEGO's lately his new favorite thing!!! The other night I went to tuck him in and had this LEGO man laying on his head and he was fast asleep! I told him the next morning that he went to bed with a LEGO man on his head and he said YA......MOM he is my friend and we were having a sleep over! :)

Abbagail seems to be growing at a rapid rate!!!! She is growing up!!!! And sadly in more ways than ONE!!!! We started the series of "talks" this week... and let me tell you!!! I think I scared her half to death in becoming a women!!!!LOL!!!!! Thank God for my Cousin who gets these random texts from me about panic questions on the talk! As she is just coming down from the talks with her "TWEEN" anyways!!! She is getting big!!! :0)

Hello World

Well I must say that today has been the most productive day that I have had in weeks!!!!! I told Jon last night I was going to make today a HIT!!! Getting everything and everyone back on track! And sure enough...well after my coffee kicked in!!! It was! I think the fact that it is in the high 50's and sunny has alot to do with it as well! So did my 4 loads of laundry for the day and put it away! Got dinner out and thawing.. ran the kids here and there for school and pick up and went out and FINISHED.. YES FINISHED my NEVER ending leaf project!!!! And I am not kidding it has taken me weeks to do this project!! But It was good to get some fresh air and be outside! I told caid that for every small stick he picked up I would give him 5 cents and for the big ones I would give him .10 cents well I should have seen this coming but he only picked up the BIG sticks!!! And he said "why I would I pick up the small sticks when I can make more getting the big sticks!!!" SO $5 later he finished!!! :)
We are getting ready for Caids bday party. He wanted to invite all of his little preschool friends So I told him if he wanted to do that he had to have something that was fairly cheap. Which if you know my son...he understands that! So we are having his party at a Pizza Joint in town called Papa's Pizza! He loves this place they have great pizza and they have a great playground inside as well that the kids love! So we were planning on having a Lego party cause he is into Legos in a MAJOR way at the moment! But when we were on line ordering him his lego party supplies I showed him the Camo party stuff that was on closeout! And I told him these are on a major sale... would you want to have a camo party instead and he asked about the prices and then said....."UM YES!!! that is really cheap, why wouldn't we buy that instead!!" (Seriously this kid loves a good deal as much as I do!) So we got 3 table covers, 36 dessert plates 36 dinner plates, 16 Thank you cards, balloons and 3 center pieces for $7.17 I was stoked! and SO was HE! :) Considering the Lego plates for 12 cost what the whole camo decor did! :0)

So my Mom and Dad are in Virginia for 5 weeks. My dad is helping out a pastor with his new church and we have the blessed pleasure of having their dog! The only reason I did this is because I LOVE MY MOM AND DAD! And this was also a great blessing cause it has proved to me that I don't need a dog! They are just like a kid and Lord knows I don't need another one of those! I made a book for my dad for his 70th Bday. I gathered people from all seasons of his life and they wrote a little something about a memory of what he meant to them and I put it all on a book and am getting it printed as we speak. I actually think it turned out really well! I hope it turns out just as well printed! :0) But I am excited to give it to him. It took a while to do and I am really proud to give it to him!

Well there is so much to catch up on..... But I need to go pick up Abbie from school!!!!! So I will make a part 2 hopefully later tonight!!!

Feeling very productive today!!

AND IT'S ABOUT DANG TIME!!!!
Man...being home and sick with everyone made me a home body with lack of motivation!!!! But today some of that motivation maybe is on it's way back..... we will see... I started working out again and got my little buddy working out with me!! And I must say we are DOING AWESOME!!!! My main point of SERIOUS frustration is a scrapbook that I am making. Seriously I do not know why people do this for FUN!!!! I have literary been pulling my hair out with this project and I have looked for answers to some of my questions with no avail!!! :( I went to michaels and joann's and those people looked at me like I was crazy with the questions I was asking! I was even resorting to asking strangers in the stores questions....and man they are seriously excited about their scrapbooks!!!! Anyways after MUCH frustration I have figured out another plan that I think will work better..But I REALLY was going crazy with it!!!!

Since we have moved we have not switched over to new dr's yet. But with everything going on we needed to get a local doctor. So today I finally got set up with them switched over my insurance card, got Lola and Zeke's yearly check up's scheduled got a new sticker for my driver license since mine got shredded in the washing machine, got Caid's bday party reserved, laundry is going, dishes are clean..... might not seem like a lot...but coming out of the fog.... IT IS!!!!!!

Alright peeps... gotta go finish being productive before the kiddies wake up!!!

Happy New Year.... Ready...Set...GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Well here we are 2011!!!! Whew!!!! And it is off to a running start!!!! We have SERIOUSLY been in the HOUSE for DAYS straight!!!! And I would say the older two are running at 85% and the babies about 75% Zeke has improved the most but he was also the sickest. But in the end it probably was really good that we were all grounded in the house for Christmas Break. It wasn't as exciting as I would have hoped for but It might have been needed. Our schedule during the weeks are so busy with school and other activities it is like go here then there then here then there!!!! SO the kids have actually really done a lot better than I would have imagined. So Monday morning is coming quickly.. The kids are excited to get back to school to see their friends. We had a fun new years eve party just us and my sister.... I set the clocks 3 hrs ahead and we rang in the new year at "midnight" We had a little Wii action going and some fireworks that I had left over from the 4th! The kids thought they were really really COOL staying up so late!!!! Anyways!!! I hope your week into the new year is an easy one!!!!
