A "God" reminder

So.. YES... I am actually still having a hard time with this transition.. not in a "OH POOR ME.. I AM MAKING SUCH A SACRIFICE kinda way" Just a "God are you sure this is what you want me to do?" Kinda way. This week I have found myself in tears daily, trying to figure this out. Abbie is actually transitioning a lot better than I am, that is for sure! This is probably been one of the biggest struggles I have had in a LONG LONG time! Knowing FOR SURE that this is what God wants me to do for now...(notice the NOW) But I sure don't "feel" like this is cool! But I was reminded Monday that it is not always how you "feel" Thinking back on the peeps in the bible who had a struggle... and thinking.. I am sure "they didn't FEEL like going through those things God had them go through. But the outcome was obedience and following the call of God. Sure did they question God? Were they freaked out of their minds? Did they think they would not last one more minute? I am sure they did! But they carried on the call that God had on their lives for that time. They were obedient. OKAY OKAY.. I know this sounds like I am going through some MAJOR issue.. and it all comes down to "Homeschool." I am sure people are like "seriously???!!" You are having this hard of a time with HOMESCHOOL! I know it sounds like I am on my death bed or being pursecuted in China for being a underground missionary! IT'S JUST HOME SCHOOLING!!! So as dramatic as this may all sound! I HAVE FAITH that JESUS is in control and I know HE has my BEST!

SO I was reminded last night of a song that I heard in Budapest about 11 years ago. called "At the Foot of the Cross" I have attached it for you guys to listen to.. It encouraged me today knowing that Jesus took all my burdens to the cross.. (YES, EVEN HOME SCHOOLING)

So have a listen!

Peace out!

Day ONE!

Okay well here we are at the end of day ONE! And yep! Abbie cried and so did I! I knew that this was going to be rough ride! A BIG BIG adjustment! I wish I could say.. IT WAS AWESOME.. the best decision ever!!! Well not so much... Just continue to take one day at a time! I was reminded today when I was in Amsterdam, I was told that our outreach was going to be sent to India.. and I WAS FREAKED OUT!!! TOTALLY DID NOT WANT TO GO TO INDIA!!! (of all places!!!) But turned out it was the most awesome experience I had abroad!

I read this today in a book called "My Utmost for His Highest" by Oswald Chambers
This pretty much sums up what I have been learning through this whole ordeal!

"The Lord does not give me rules, but He makes His standard very clear. If my relationship to Him is that of love, I will do what He says without hesitation. If I hesitate, it is because I love someone I have placed in competition with Him, namely, myself. Jesus Christ will not force me to obey Him, but I must. And as soon as I obey Him, I fulfill my spiritual destiny. My personal life may be crowded with small, petty happenings, altogether insignificant. But if I obey Jesus Christ in the seemingly random circumstances of life, they become pinholes through which I see the face of God. Then, when I stand face to face with God, I will discover that through my obedience thousands were blessed. When God’s redemption brings a human soul to the point of obedience, it always produces. If I obey Jesus Christ, the redemption of God will flow through me to the lives of others, because behind the deed of obedience is the reality of Almighty God."

THE ONE WHO CALLS IS FAITHFUL, AND HE WILL DO IT -1 Thessalonians 5:24-

Thanks my PEEPS for the prayers!!!

HERE WE GO...(Again)

OKay.. so my blogging skills are not totally to par.. but I am going to give this a go again!! Our life has taken a little bit of a turn.. BEGINNING TOMORROW.. ABBIE STARTS HOMESCHOOLING.. This is a LONG LONG story.. but actually very grateful and blessed to actually see God's Calling to do this for Abbie and Caid right now. Homeschooling was on my TOP 3 list of things I WOULD NEVER DO!! and of course here I am .. along with the other 2... getting married and having kids! SO the other 2 have worked out pretty great! So they great thing is that I am totally freaked out with this homeschooling thing.. But knowing that if God calls you to do something.. NO MATTER HOW BIG OR SMALL.. HE is faithful to complete it and give you the grace and SANITY to carry it through.
God has brought women around me old and new who have begun to homeschool their kids as well and I was even blessed to be given the WHOLE 2nd Grade Abeka books.. Which is huge! So seeing God's provision and writting all over the skies.. (SERIOUSLY)
So... Here we go..
