FIRST DAY of 3rd GRADE!!! :)

Well we survived the first day!!! How weird is it that we started school in AUGUST!!!!
Waking up this morning felt like getting ready REALLY early for a road trip.. My KIDS thought I was being so mean!!! So I tried to lessen the pain by making Cinnamon Rolls. So off we were headed to school at 7:40am!!!! UGGG...
She was off and SOOOOO ready!!! She had a great day, came home with all the new adventures she has ahead of her! She has a FABULOUS teacher Mrs. Wilcox! I am really so excited about this year! I have a feeling it is going to be a good one!!!!


So today.. my mom and Grandma came out to spend the day with us and stayed with us for the first day of school and helped attend "shopping therapy" day!!! It was SO FUN!!!
We went to the Mall about 10am and didn't stop till almost 5! (not all was shopping) One thing that my Grandma and Abbie have talked about was watches.. Abbie was saying that she really wanted to get a watch so she can get better at telling time. My Grandma said she had some watches that might work for her. So she had my sister go to her house and check them out.. Anyways. Long story short They were not age appropriate for her, so she decided that she NEEDED to get Abbie a watch. So we found a watch at the Mall today. It was the PERFECT WATCH!! :) So got home and Grandma was on the couch and gave Abbie this watch. It was the most precious thing I have experienced in a long time!!! Who knew $20 can bring so much joy and so many tears. So she sat down and told Abbie what she did and why and gave her the watch. It was VERY VERY cool!!! :) and after a VERY emotional day.. I cried some more!!! But my Grandma started it!!!! I love my Grandma!!! and I am so glad she is here for this special time with our family!!!! :)

So... LONG!!!! It feels like forever since I have blogged!!!!!! So let me try to catch up.. We have had company for about 2 weeks straight!!! and have enjoyed ALMOST every minute of it!!!! :) My Grandma has come out to spend sometime with our fam and I have TOTALLY enjoyed that to the MAX!!!! LOVE LOVE having her here!!! My cousin Jaime came to visit us exactly a week ago today and she blessed us with her presence till Wednesday!!! It was a blast!!!! You know what is really cool.. Is we never really "grew" up around my "Clark" cousins... When we came down for our annual visiting trip to Cali from wherever the heck we were living during that time, we always had a big "Disneyland trip where we would all meet up with all the cousins and we would go to Disneyland. That is pretty much the only time that I remember hanging out with Kim and Jaime for an extended period of time growing up. And it was always fun (we have matching shirts to prove it!!!!) But the time wasn't very extended. So to me it has been cool getting to know them in my "grown up years" and it has been VERY VERY cool to form relationships with both of them and for them to be part of my families life :) So it was a cool visit! :)


Anyways.. here a couple of the "fun things happening around our house" Here's a funny story.. We caught a pet frog.. Although we dont keep it anywhere near the house or have it.. Well Zeke's "frog" comes out as another... not so appropriate FOUR letter word!!! :) If you get my drift.. Well you put "Put that FROG on a BENCH.. (and Bench also comes out as a different "B" word...) this = a VERY BAD SENTENCE!!!! but sadly we are such bad parents we laughed our butts off!!!! And one more to check off the list!!!! Going for GOLD here.. 3 our of 4 children have shoplifted before the age of 4! (don't worry.. still have time to get a perfect score on this one!) ALSO to add to our list 3 out of 4 kids have master their "potty mouth" by the age of 4!! JOB WELL DONE!!!!!! :) I will take that pat on the back! :)

AND ON TO MY BIG NEWS.. which isn't big news.. cause you guys have been hearing about it for weeks!!! SUMMER IS OVER FOR US!!!!!!!!!!!! BIGGGGGGGGGGGG SADDDDDDD FACE!!!! :(

And in good form I have already cried TWICE TODAY!! Tonight I made Abbie's favorite dinner... Shrimp Alfredo. Everyone got bathed and PJ ready. We all sat down at the table with the hot brownies ready to be eaten... before we started.. I read

Then Jon told us all to get up and get around Abbie and ALL six of us laid our hands on Abbie and prayed over her for her new school year.. YEP.. I cried!!! :)
Then she told Jon that I needed to take her to school tomorrow cause mom can't handle it! :)

But I was very proud of her and I was proud of all the kids.. as each one prayed for her and for her first day of school.. EVEN Lolie.. although she just closed her eyes and mumbled something and said AMEN! :) That alone was a tear jerker for me. Blessed.. Totally blessed!!!!!

LAST WEEK OF SUMMER

OH MY GOSH!!! Can you believe it is the last week of summer already!!!! MAN THIS SUMMER FLEW BY!!!! I MEAN FLEW BY!!!!! I think it is because it rained for most of June!!! ( I mean seriously.. we should get an extra few days for makeup or something!!) Anyways. Abbie is getting really excited about starting school and so is Caid. Caid is starting a 4 day a week pre-school that is focus on Pre-K. So it is a little bit more challenging than just a preschool - preschool! So he is very excited about that, but he starts like a normal kid in September! Anyways. So we have a week full of F-U-N!!!! My cousin Jaime is here and the kids LOVE LOVE her!!! oh and I think she is okay too!!! :0) We are headed out to Voo-Doo Donuts this morning and hitting downtown Eugene.. so I can show her all the organic weed smokin hippies!!! :) and do some downtown shoppin!!! Then we head for the coast Tuesday.. and Wednesday we are going to Multnomah Falls. So it should be fun!!! Then Thursday Jon's sister comes in till Saturday and then Jon's grandparents come in Friday to Sunday.... oh ya.. and Jon is gone next week for another Business trip!!!! WHEW!!!!!!! :)

Summer is a CLOS'EN

Ok... so we are semi-starting to gear up for school to start up again!!! SEMI-STARTING!!! We have a star studded week ahead with another house full of peeps coming!!! My cousin Jaime is coming and we are all SOOO excited!!! Abbie is starting the 3rd grade.. So here is a funny story.. well at least Jon thinks it is pretty funny!!! So Abbie started Kindergarden when Caid was still pretty little I think about 4 months or so. So I was still having all my pregger Hormones. So we get her all dressed up in her pretty little FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL Outfit and send her to school. We all walk her up and as we get ready to leave. I JUST TOTALLY LOSE IT!!! I start balling my head off and I am sooo sad... SO I put my sunglasses on so she wouldn't see me crying.. and then she pretty much pushed me out the door, gave me kisses and I cried all the way home!!! :) and so was the story with 1st grade too.. I can't remember who I was preggers with.. But it had to be one of the younger two!! SO I balled my head off sending her to 1st grade.. Abbie rolled her eyes and I think the parents thought I was crazy!!! THEN SECOND grade came!!! I AM NOT PREGGERS!!!! FINALLY!!! I told jon.. Oh I should totally be fine!!! He said.. ya.. I am not so sure.. and HE WAS RIGHT!!! BALLED MY HEAD OFF!!!! What is wrong with me!!! Anyhow.. I am use to it now.. So make fun of me if you will.. But I am ok with being that way I guess!!!

Hello World!!!

Hey World.. well my internet is in and out still... So I am taking it when I can get it.. But let me tell you!!! I am totally getting use to not having internet again for sure!!! If I haven't left the face of the earth!!! I AM NOW!!!! seriously.. weird!!
Anyways... So my Grandma has been here and I really have missed her ALOT!!! I am so glad she has this time to hang out with us!! Abbie has been saving her allowance for 4 weeks now.. And we told her if she saves enough we will pay the other half to have her ears pierced. So she still owes me her allowance for this week but she really wanted My mom and Grandma to be with her when she got her ears done.. so I budged a little early and went a head and got it done today!!! She was SOOOOOOO excited and hasn't stopped talking about it!!! She got little blue dragon flies.

WHAT THE HECK DUDE!!!

So one thing that SUCKS about living in BFE!!! is INTERNET CONNECTION!!! We have one company ONE company that can service this area.. So they did an upgrade and WALLLAAAA... NO MORE INTERNET!!!! So I have been down and out of NO INTERNET since MONDAY!!! YEP Peeps!!! almost 5 days straight with NO INTERNET!!! How did peeps live before??? seriously!!! anyways.. got a little signal tonight.. so waiting for some "air card" to come and hope that will help!!! We shall see!!!! anyways.. I know each and everyone of you wait for my words of wisdom... so for now... I guess I will just have to surprise you!!! :) day to day!! :)

So alot going on!!! I CAN NOT believe that SCHOOL IS ALMOST STARTING!!!!! #1 I am not ready to start getting up at the butt crack of dawn!!! (Jeanna not much has changed since 1996!!!! I still need someone to sing me a song to get me going!!!) I hate getting up so freakin early!!! ESPECIALLY since my kids now ALL sleep in till 8am!!!! ICK!!! anyhow.. Got a house full for the next 2 weeks!!! AND I CANNOT WAIT!!!! My grandma is coming in from California and I AM SO EXCITED TO SEE HER!!!! And for her to see my kiddies!!!! I really miss her alot. and I am totally looking forward to seeing her!!! My sister in law is coming over on Monday and staying Monday and tuesday and I am looking forward to having her here with the two kids BUT even more looking forward to the "girls night out" we get to have on Tuesday to Celebrate her and my mom's bday!!! :) Then they leave on Thursday and my other sister in law comes in and is going to stay thurs, friday.. then my Cousin from Cali is coming for a visit
(which I am super stoked about too!!!) on Sunday!!! and stays till wed. Then Jon's grandparents come in Thurs- Sunday!!! So this couple of weeks should go by pretty darn fast!!! :)


SO!!! okay I have to tell you this story. We were at Papa's pizza last night and a guy name Tony Dungee walks in, and Jon's mouth drops to down open wide and practically hit the table! I have no clue who this guy is.. but apparently he is a "big deal" he use to coach the Oregon Ducks and then I guess he went big time in the NFL ending his coaching career with the Colts (they suck anyways) so jon has read some of his books and was totally I mean totally stoked to see him walking around.. And long story short.. I thought.. well I will go ask him if he would mind taking a picture with my husband. And HE REJECTED ME!!!! JERK!!! whatevs.... So I told my dad I was rejected by Tony Dungee and I also told my friend Debbie Thomas.. Both of them said "oh he is a strong Christian" so that explains my "twitter" on TONY DUNGEE! So I am not bitter or anything.. BUT really!!! WWJD!!! :)

BIG SHOCKER!!!! I got a book!!! and...

I AM ACTUALLY READING IT!!! HAHAHA!!!
Anyhow.. I got this book from a long time friend. Sally Scammell.. wrote a book called "Recovery from Church Hurts" You know.. hmmmmm where should I begin.. Church has always been a struggle for me BIG TIME!!!! When we moved to Albany and decided to take some time off not necessarily from church but "CHURCH" if you get what I am saying can I hear a AMEN!! (just kidding...well kinda) anyways being involved in church since I was like 2 freakin weeks old... been there.. done that and HEARD THAT!!! and not in good ways! So lets see.. I think the final straw for me came when I was living in Ventura, working with youth kids and getting married... laddy lad laaaaaa... I got married and about 5 hours later I was pregnant!!!!!! AND I AM NOT KIDDING!!!! So.. here we go getting PERSONAL!!! WOOT WOOT!!! I did!!! I waited till I got married. Also mentoring the girls in the Youth Group right along my engagement and all.. had a great group of girls and was pretty close to them.. some of them were even in my wedding!!! Anyways.. so me being me.. didn't realize that people really would wonder if we planned a SHOT GUN WEDDING!!! actually when I found that out it was almost laughable to me... But I guess peeps actually were counting... So lets see I was prob about 3 months preggers.. at a Youth Conference in the bathroom of Chili's in Sacramento and my WHOLE group girls walk the bathroom while I am in the stall and each one of them speculate on my pregnancy one by one... and then add what their parents have been saying about it as well.. ALL while I was sitting in the stall holding back my tears.. and as they leave.. I break down.... and I STAY in that stall for the whole rest of the dinner... Got myself back together and everyone was done and back at the cars. So I quietly get in the car and stay silent for the next 8hr trip. I WAS SOOOO DEVESTATED!!!! The girls did put it together that I was in the bathroom stall, but to this day only one of them have ever said anything to me about it. So from that day.. i pretty much said... I am kinda done for a bit. well it ended up being almost 6 years!!!!! HAHAHA!!! It was hard!!! super hard for me.. So about a year ago.. or so.. I decided to get back involved with church.. and started a little bible study at our church. And it was a huge blessing, God had brought a group of gals that "restored my hope" you could say. These gals in my small group were as real as it gets.. It was nice to not have to worry about what you can't say and what you can.. everyone "just came as they were"..... I remember one time standing at the little snack counter and talking to a gal in my small group and she said... "I mean what the hell another cookie won't hurt, oh wait.. did I just say hell in church... CRAP" We laughed so hard!!! The deeper you do get involved in the CHURCHY part though.. the harder it got for me.. This has always ALWAYS been a struggle for me for a very very long time!!! So along with the blessing also came the "curse" of church... I did have a falling out with one of the leaders, it was hard and it was strong! We came to a semi agreement to just live at peace... but the rift had been made and it was awkward. I read this excerpt in this book and I thought it totally
explained and "felt" what I was feeling so here it is.. ."We have been dented, but those nearby respond like nothing has happened. It was bad enough that we were caught off guard by what just sideswiped us, sending us into a spin and then a ditch. What seemed even worse was that we were emotionally and spiritually crumpled, with flat tires (no ability to get out of where we are) and no one offered to help. The feeling of isolation becomes strong in those times of GREAT need"

Okay peeps this might be a long one... .

So today in church they played this song.... take a listen then read on.. it is 6 minutes.. so if you have some time.. listen to it through! EVEN if you have heard it before!!



So here's the story.. As I mentioned earlier in one of my blogs as Jesus has been teaching me alot about "REMEMBER WHERE YOU CAME FROM AND WHO BROUGHT YOU THROUGH!!! Can I just say he isn't letting up, which I am overwhelmed with thankfulness for!

Today in church they we sang this song... Talk about trying to COMPOSE myself.. I had a major FLASHBACK to my old church just a couple months ago... probably Januaryish.. In the middle of our storm and our church singing this and I BROKE DOWN!!! AND IN A MAJOR WAY! I could NOT contain myself...But what was so awesome about this breakdown that I had at that time was just the PURE PRESENCE OF JESUS ministering to me and reminding me that HE IS THE GOD WHO SAVES AND HE MOVES THE MOUNTAINS!!! The Holy Spirit was refreshing my heart as God promises OVER and OVER in His word. "HE REFRESHES THE HEARTS OF HIS SAINTS"

So today when I was sitting in church, this song came up, we were just asked to sit down after standing for some other songs, Peeps started singing and they got the the part when "He can move the mountains, He is mighty to save, mighty to save" , peeps started standing and praising Jesus.. just popping up all over the auditorium. And my heart was FLOODED.. I mean FLOODED with the memory back at South Albany Church. And after trying to compose myself I once again.. "LET THE RIVER FLOW". This storm I would say has been one of the BIGGEST blessings in my life. Although we still have some windy times still ahead, I am VERY VERY THANKFUL for these reminders that Jesus is throwing my way!

OK.. so day 2 with MORE to go!!!!!!
So here is today's work. we were mostly working on the "art" pieces but the MAIN wall art isn't done yet.. and the little other pieces still need to be put on... need to get some decorative pillows and some more accessories... so anyways.. these pics might make it a little hard to see the whole picture... so maybe you can get the jist of it!!! :)

But the FINAL REVEAL will have to wait till next weekend.. cause my "Contractor" is headed out on a jet plane for work for the rest of the week!!
