One for the road

Ok DUE to the OVERWHELMING need for me to blog to make my cousins life complete, I am just going to write a short update! :)

My Aunt Sue (MY NAMESAKE as see says) is here visiting us for a week. And we are having a GREAY time! It is a lot of fun having her here! The kids are loving it and enjoying the time with her!

Things around the homestead are going really good. I think I have mentioned it in every blog that I have written in the past month. BUT it is GOOD to be back in the "CITY"!! Although I have NO friends here I feel SO MUCH MORE content here and not as lonely as I was living in Albany! I am lovin IT!

I am looking forward to summer time and enjoying the yard. anyhow... although it is short...you have to admit it is sweet!!! right! anyhow..
more to come peeps.. been a busy week! :)

peace out!

Catching UP!

Okay so instead of doing my normal catch up by writing 5 blogs at once, I am going to just make this one a little longer! :)

So Caid is back healing well from his surgery, the hardest thing is to keep him calm. He is not to run, jump, ride bikes and worse of all he can't take a bath!!! LOL! But he is doing good. I am proud of him!

Yesterday I had an last minute BBQ. I decided to invite some of my friends from Albany. I really didn't expect them to come cause it was pretty last minute. But to my surprise THEY ALL SHOWED UP!!! I was SOOO excited to see them! I really did miss them! The weather could not have been MORE perfect! We had about a million kids here it was awesome!
Here is a pic of us girls!!! :)

I felt bad for Caid cause we had the ghetto slip and slide out and water on the trampoline with ALL million kids on it at once and the sprinklers going and poor caid could not participate with his surgery stuff still healing. So I told him that he had a special job. Which was to help Jon get the fire going for our marshmellow roast!!

So we had a blast on Saturday! And I was so glad everyone came to hang out! :) It meant a lot! :)

So Sunday we started planting our garden! I was really excited about it. Caid is my helper for sure.. I think he was born a farmer! Abbie helped but fades out quickly!
So here is our garden. not quite finished planting still looking for some more plants that we couldn't find. But it is a great start! :)

Anyways. peace out peeps! have a great one!

Life Lately

JEEZ.. it's been kinda busy around here! Just got a lot of stuff going on.. Still totally adjusting to moving. I think sometimes no matter where or how far you move there is always a sense of adjustment. I am loving being in a bigger city with more things to do and places to go! BUT! here is the catch we live 1 mile out of Santa Clara and 11 miles to Junction City, but we have a Junction City address which means we get NONE of the EUGENE benefits which sucks! But whatever... we will work around it!

So Tuesday we went up to Portland and had Caiden's surgery It was pretty rough but he is doing good now.

As for Mother's Day Jon got called into work for the next 4 days out of town... so I was on my own. So we went to Papa's Pizza where Mom's got a free pizza for mothers day and it was a full size pizza so it was cool.. Then we went and got some flowers to plant. We had a good day!

Yard work

So it seems that since moving out here the kids take on average about 2 baths a day! They get dirty fast!! But they are enjoying being out here. Today we took Abbie to school at UGGG 8AM!! got back and started mowing the lawn at 8:45am and we finished at 11:30!!!! Let's just say that LAWN is a FARM!!! But it was good exercise and the kids had fun playing out. Came in had lunch and they were OUT for a good 2 plus hours for a nap! It was very nice! We talked to our Landlord peeps and they are going to come over with their tractor to form a garden area for us. That will be fun! :) Anyways. The kids took a bath tonight. Zeke and Lola it was their second of the day. besides the water almost being black they ALL fit! So I took a couple of pics of them but the one that showed up needed a little censoring.. so I did!

Have a good night peeps!

Keep it real!!! :)

Peace out!

Here's the thing

Ok.. so it is pretty quiet here in the country!!! Getting use to it! But the coolest thing is THERE IS A BIG CITY 2 miles away! Now of course Eugene does not compare to Cali.. BUT it is nice to kinda meet people living in the year 2010 and not 1994! It has been nice to be in a bigger city, I am loving it! Been busy these last couple of days. Abbie started school in Junction City, because of the boundaries we go to Junction City which STINKS.. So next year I am putting in for a transfer for a Santa Clara school. The Junction City school is how shall I say this.. GHETTO!!! and it is 12 miles away from the house when the Santa Clara house is about 2 miles away. So we shall see how it goes. Big prayers out on Transfer. She starts school at 8am!! Which is a HUGE adjustment for us all!! Back in A-town she didn't get up till 8! I take here to and from school cause if she rode the bus she would have to be at the bus stop at 6:55am and get to the school at 8am! And home she would leave at 2:30 and get home at 4pm! A little to long for me to have her ride the bus home!

So Caid started school today and was SUPER excited and had a great time. He attends a speech preschool program. This was leaps and bounds different than his old speech school in a-town by 200% it was awesome! I was SUPER impressed! So he dressed himself all up today in honor of his first new school day! He had a blast!

We have finished unpacking and let me tell you how happy I am.. Caid was bringing one more box in for us in this pic!

Kids Pics.

I am BEYOND TIRED.. I took some pics of the kids today.. thought I would share!! :)

Almost Done!!!

So Saturday was just as busy as Friday but it was way YUMMY!!! Don and Heather came over to help, Don brought his smoker and SMOKED some WAY YUMMY food. We had Smoked Salmon for lunch and smoked chicken for dinner!!! IT WAS YUMM-O!!!!! SO SO SO good! :)

So while the guys were out with their smoker... Heather and I went box by box and I think only a true friend would do that!!! :) So we started in the Kitchen and almost passed out on the couch at the end!! They came at about 10am and left at 9pm. And we were literally doing something ALL day! So here are some pics of our fabulous work!!

This is the "big kid" living room

This is the kitchen

This is the dinning room

Kids Living Room.. But this room is not all put together yet.. hence the mess! :)

Lolie decided to crawl into the bath after her bath.. It did keep her pretty busy and quiet though, she was proud!

SO off for ANOTHER day of unpacking...

Abbie starts school tomorrow.. She is very excited! The kids were outside yesterday at 7am playing and I made them come in when Heather and her gang left at 9pm! They are having a blast living out here in the "country"

Friday -THE DAY!

So my day started at 5am packing up all the rest of the boxes.. picking up loose ends and just trying to get the house emptied out. That I think is the worst part!!! So kids have been sleeping in a tent for the week cause we had already moved their beds. So when they woke up I emptied out their tent and left them in the tent with the computer so I could finish getting ready.. (And Lola was sleep of course) So here is the last pic of the kids I took at good ol' 2731

So Heather came over with her 6 kids!!! Yes she had 2 extra. We loaded our cars to the HILT.. in my car you could hardly see the children in their seats... And we headed out.. One more picture for the road.. .here is our old little house.. (and I stress the little)

I was actually WAY more emotional than I thought. I sent a text to my Mom and Sister of this picture and said.. "Good bye 2731 you have been good to us" And it's true! We brought home 2 babies in this house. This house also represents a "season" which was pretty rough, that we made it through together as a FAMILY!!! :) My mom sent me a text back that said "Yes it has" then I started to cry! It hasn't always been the "funnest" place to live with our crazy neighbors!! :) But it was good for this season! :)

Anyways. As I mentioned on my facebook about 11am 2 Hot Housewives + 10 kids in tow = ROCKSTAR MOVERS!!! You guys have no idea the coolness that WE ARE!! WE TOTALLY ROCKED THE MOVING SYSTEM! So we got the house unloaded our cars, put the boys bunk bed together and then we headed outside to what I think was the MOST important things to get set up!!! THE TRAMPOLINE!Why was it so important. BECAUSE THE KIDS WILL BE ENTERTAINED! :) So Heather and I headed out to conquer the trampoline!! OH AND DID WE CONQUER!!! WE KILLED IT! We took it down by ourselves earlier in the week.. but putting it up was insane. Good thing Heather is smart cause I would have not been able to do it without her! I guess putting up the trampoline requires Algebra!!! SO WE GOT IT UP!! IT WAS A HUGE DEAL! We made sure to mention to all of our kids before they got on that "Girls you need to be as cool as we are... and Boys you need to marry women that are as cool as us" They just laughed at us and started jumping!!! :) Heather left me.. I guess she had to go home to her husband or something.. jeez.. whatev!
Well Friday was pretty busy.. Still have boxes EVERYWHERE!!!!!! Post more later peeps!!

Keep it real!!!
Peace OUT

Thursday Night

So Thursday night was our last night in A-Town! We went over to Heather's house and had dinner and hung out with them and had some yummy chili. I love them.. But I am starting to tear up.. so I am not going on!!!! Anyways. not like we live in China! But Heather was a HUGE part of keeping me kinda sane during this move! :)
So here is the kids at dinner! The quietest time we have when we get together.

After Heathers we came home to say our good-byes to The Kinney's. They have been our neighbors down the street and good friends of ours. Nyah is 3 weeks older than Zeke. And Braydon and Abbie are in the same grade at school. And Krissy has been a real good friend to me over the year! :) So her is a pick our our kids minus Lola who went to sleep of course!

Gonna Miss you Guys!!! :)

Crazy what get's you excited!

So I am catching up on blogging.. So prepare yourself once again for amazement!! (KIM!!)
Anyways.

So let's start with Thursday. I have been a part of a Thursday morning bible study at my church for this past year and it has been such a blessing, and I have made some friendships that I hope will last a lifetime! So Thursday was my last day and they gave me a card and had me pick through door 1 - 3 and low and behold.. THEY BOUGHT ME A MICROWAVE!! I was totally shocked!!! LOVE IT. and didn't even know they knew I need one! But apparently they did, anyways it was awesome.. AND it is a SUPER NICE one! I took a pic of it It was all pretty with a bow on top. Just like a new car! I think I was just as excited with the microwave as I was with getting a new car!
Thanks to all you girls!
