SNOW....EARS...AND BAPTISIM!!! ;0)
Well those things all go together well!! LOL!!!
So as most of you know we have a had a couple of days of snow! Last night we got a lot more than the night before we had about 4 inches last night and down to like 20 degrees so it stayed and it was cold!! :0) But Abbie did have school today she just had a late start so she went to school at 10. which actually I would be okay with everyday!
We went to the ENT on Wednesday and both Abbie and Zeke had the appointments. And just as I had called it. Abbie was fine. We are going to go get her ear's testing for her hearing in March. NOW... ZEKE was the shocker! That I was not expecting. So he is going to go in to get tested for sleep apnea and then from there. He will get his tonsil, adnoids and a new pair of tubes in prob the middle/end of march. So I wasn't expecting that and also he is going in to get his hearing Tested the same time Abbie does. So there is the update on that.
Abbie gets baptized this Sunday and WE and SHE is VERY EXCITED and very proud of her! ;0)

I got my hair DID
So yesterday I headed to A-Town to get my hair did.... Why do I still go down to A-town to get my hair did!!!! #1 You know how it is when you have a hair girl who knows your hair it is priceless. #2 Kim is my hair girl! #3 Kim was my FIRST friend in A-Town. Abbie and her daughter went to Pre-school together, she through me a baby shower for Lola. She is one of those people that she is my FRIEND FOR LIFE!!!! ALthough I only talk to her these days when I go get my hair done... or when I have a emergency medical question!!! But she has been a VERY good friend to me and I am very Thankful for her and It is always good to see her.... :0)
SO I got a babysitter to watch the kids while I went down to A-Town and Jon was going to get home early yesterday so I met up with another friend I haven't seen in a long time and of course it was AWESOME and very good to see her face again! ;0)
Which you know I have kinda been in a little funk lately about friends and it was good to see both of these two to really realize the blessing of friendship.

Day 20 of my 28 day fast!
Ok well 8 more days left!!!! Let me tell you it has been challenging having this fast!!! And I will say I have done pretty good! There have been a couple times where I have stood in the store and thought.................hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm and debated like I had the 'angel' on one shoulder and the 'devil' on the other... But it is going... and I think I will actually extend this "fast" for a while longer... :( Atleast till I get my tax refund!!!!LOL!!!

FUN TIMES and THINGS
So I made this book for my dad for his 70th Bday... From people and his family from the past 70 years. They all wrote a special note... I know I MISSED ALOT of people....but I tried to gather as many as I could and I think I got the ones that were meant to be.... SOOOO HE FINALLY CAME HOME from his 5 week east coast trip and We went up to his house on Saturday to surprise him and give him the book!!! I WAS SO EXCITED to give him this book!!!! It turned out great!!!! HE LOVED IT!!! And he cried through the whole book!!!! It really is one of the best gifts I think I have given to anyone!!! IT felt awesome!!!
Another highlight of the weekend... which to me is a VERY VERY VERY CLOSE 1st RUNNER UP!!! MY FABULOUS SISTER IN LAW.... SHERILYN.... Sent me home with her KITCHEN AIDE MIXER!!!! For those of you that know will understand!!!!! I HEART HER AND SHE IS MY HERO!!!!! I think I have used her blender more in this one day that she has in her years of owning it!!!! I found out that she kept this FINE PIECE of Kitchen ware in the GARAGE!!!!!!! WHO DOES THAT!!!!!! :0) So today I made.... 1. Walnut Cranberry Breakfast Bars 2. Pizza Pockets 3. Quiche 4. Oatmeal and White Chocolate Chip Pazokies. Today I was in baker heaven!!!! My blender smoked out last fall and then I bought some cheap ones then I burned through 3 of those.... SO I am very happy back to doing some baking!!!!!!! And I have my sour dough starter starting!!! :0)

I really should have become an E.N.T
Ok so for reals!! I totally could have and should have become an E.N.T Doctor and thanks to my kids I could have skipped all the edjumication that is required!!! For those of you un-edjumicated folk out there ENT stands for Ears,Nose and Throat Doctor.
So last week I went in to see the Doctor about Lola’s ears to get them looked at because her ear would not stop draining. So we go in….and just as I expected surgery was scheduled to get them taken out. And so we have it… Friday we go in bright and early to get them taken out. See how it goes and hopefully her ears improve (WHICH I WILL NOT BE HOLDING MY BREATH!) If they do AWESOME………… IF they don’t back for round 3!
So my kids were all up for their check ups at the regular doctor, Lola (CHECK) Zeke (CHECK) (but he goes to the ENT next Wednesday for his tube consultation to decide what we need to do about his ears cause he is in the same boat as Lola.
ABBIE (CHECK) BIG PROBLEM!
Abbie..Abbie.... Abbie… has had MAJOR issues with her ears since seriously day 5!!! She had her first set of tubes put in at 8 months and 4 additional sets followed that. I took her to the audiologist a couple years back and she tested pretty low on her left ear. They said to kinda keep an eye out and check back in a couple years. So here we are a couple years later. IN a BIG mess! We went today to get them checked out and the Doctor was FLOORED to put it mildly on how “damaged” her ears are. He told me she has some major chronic damage and scaring and her hearing is at about 20 % in her left ear. He then let me take a look and showed me the “hole” in her ear which is about the size of a nickel… which for an ear is massive. So he is only a DOCTOR…. So we schedule an ENT appt for next Wednesday as well and we will see how that goes….. and see if it is really as bad as the regular doctor says it is. We also have an appt to go the the Eugene Hearing and Speech Center (Same place Caid goes for his speech) to get tested for hearing. It was recommend that she get a device in her ear to help magnify her hearing loss.
This does and doesn’t come as a shock to me. I knew Abbie was having a harder time hearing and it was getting a little worse, but I had no idea the magnitude of it. So of course I feel so bad about not getting her in sooner. But praying for a good outcome!
So that’s my Wednesday!!!! :0)

Weigh in Wednesday
Well today is Thursday and I am running behind!! We have had a busy week.. so lets get to this first of all.... I am UP 2 lbs BUT I don't really think I AM! This is my "OFF" week.. which I will be taking ONE every month! "MOTHER NATURE" has shown up this week which always puts me 3-5 lbs heavier due to her lovely presence.. So I am not discouraged just going to wait this through and see how i weigh in next wed! But I think I am doing really good! And I am excited!
In other notes....things have been pretty good over here........
As far as my MONEY FAST!!! Let me just tell you IT SUCKS!!!! Just being honest and it is VERY HARD!!!!!!!!! But I am still working on it!!! Thank God feb only has 28 days!!!
The kids have still been having a hard time getting over the illness.... they were all vomiting and have still had some trouble "on the other end" of things too.... So I really hope this ends soon! I am READY for SPRING!!! Lola goes in on Feb 18th to get her ear tubes taken out because they are working against her instead of doing what they should be doing, so the Doctor wants to get them out, wait a little and she how she does and then if she needs them back in, we will in about 6 months. That is just a day surgery, Shouldn't be a big deal.... we have done it so many times it is just like going to the dentist! But of course everytime you have to put them under there is some risks.
We are also taking Abbie into the hearing specialist to get her ears checked and also to see about getting her ears patched up from scaring from having 6 sets of tubes in and out of her ears.
Caid is doing great! Working hard in school and he is SOOOO excited to start kindergarden. He has been feeling under the weather but pushes through it.. It takes alot for him to stay down.
Zeke has all the sudden come out of his shell! He started school in November and he is like Mr. Social there... he has always been a little bit more quiet but he is busting out which has been good to see, And he is LOVING school!!!
The BINKY FAIRY came last night....and Lola gave her binkies to the baby's in the nursery... we made a pretty fairy glam baggie, gathered up all her binkies and put them in the baggie...sprinkled some glittery fairy dust and gave them to her baby friend Hannah in the nursery!!! (BYE BYE BINKIES!!!!) ALL that's left is POTTY TRAINING!!!! :0)
Jon is doing great at work and we are excited about some new possibilities with in the company! :0) (Cause hey we all know this money fast can't last forever!!!) :0) JUST KIDDING... (well kinda...........)
Anyhow....here are some pics of just misc stuff.... Zeke made cookies with me for his Valentines Party at school and Me and Abbie had BLACK OUT NINJA NIGHT at Awana!

The Crazy Train
Well today marks the 6th day straight of FLU in our house!!! And let me tell you!!!! I am so over it!!!! As of yesterday afternoon Abbie, Zeke and myself got the bug. Abbie had it the worst She had it from Sat night through Monday and just went back to school Wednesday. Zeke and I both had it pretty mild. Yesterday Afternoon just as I was packing the kids up to go get Abbie from school.(which is a 15 min drive there and 15 mini back) LOLA BARF EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!! on the couch on the floor ALL OVER HER! So that was at 2:30 the time I should have been in the car to pick up abbie The latest is to pick her up by 2:45pm. So did a quick clean up and change in the car and we are off..... with her vomiting ALL THE WAY THERE AND ALL THE WAY HOME!!!!
So she was down for the count all night.. Slept in our room and vomited until about midnight then slept.. Zeke woke up at 2am screaming and he had vomited EVERYWHERE as well.............. sound round 157849 begins again!!! Then this morning I told Caid "Hey buddy we can't go to school today cause Zeke and Lola are sick and he goes I know.... I am sick too.. I threw up just 3 times in the toilet but I didn't want to wake you up.... :( " And soooo it goes.... Caid is now sick... and he threw up all the way to take Abbie to school and ALL the way home and hasn't stopped!!! SERIOUSLY........... I think I have done like 754 loads of Laundry in the past 6 days and been through 7 bottles of Lysol wipes and 2 cans of Lysol spray!!!
Here's to getting better SOON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WEIGH in WEDNESDAY
Well my first week of my first new challenge is complete and I am DOWN 4 lbs. The last couple of days could have definitely helped that out due to the fact that the flu has been going around............BUT I will take it! :0)

Caiden's 5th
CONGRATS!!!!! YOU ARE READING MY 200TH BLOG...... BUT SADLY THERE IS NO PRIZE CAUSE I AM ON A SPENDING FAST!!! LOL!!!!!
Well today is Caiden's 5th Birthday. We were all scheduled to have his Bday at the Pizza joint and HE HAS BEEN COUNTING DOWN FOR MONTHS!!! (REALLY HE HAS)
Abbie has been battling a flu bug since Saturday and was still throwing up last night............. Then around 5pm.. I started!!! Thankfully I only was "SICK SICK' until about 8ish.. still not feeling the hottest but I was determined to not get me TOTALLY DOWN cause his BIG party was in the morning!!! :0( THEN Zeke started throwing up at 1am and that was that!!!!!! (Looked like there would be no party for us) well plan B!!! We decided that we just move the party to his class. His teacher was very gracious and allowed us to throw the party there... So I dropped of all the stuff and headed out... :0) He had a blast.........
SO HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAIDEN!!!!!!!!

One year ago today my friend Courtney lost her baby in a tragic accident. They had a balloon lift off in his memory today. We couldn't attend, and I sent a couple balloons over my way. Courtney you are always near in my thoughts and prayers!
