"Ministry"

You know i was thinking today of something!!! (I know.........scary thought I was thinking)
Ministry isn't always something you "feel, like or want" to do. For those of you churchy peeps.. I am sure you may have heard this a million times... But God reminded me about it again today! You know helping someone with a need that is easy for you is easy! right? So what about helping someone that has a need that isn't easy. You know like being in Amsterdam and India "ministering to peeps" was EASY!!!!! it may not have be a very comfy time all the time but what a life experience it was for sure! But pulling weeds, watching someones kids, helping someone who has not been so nice to you in the past with a need or making food for someone even if the budget it tight right now! Being out "serving" somewhere for me is easy. Sometimes being at home serving my house, family and others is WAY WAY harder! even the slightest of attitude adjustments make all the difference in the life of a family member,close friend and even strangers! And remembering that other people have real issues going on too, sometimes is a slap in face like oh ya.. my "little issue" is pretty dang selfish!

So as my dad says... "Build a bridge and get over it"

Sometimes i get schooled by peeps who don't even believe in God at ALL. How they serve others, come along side of other and encourage others! To see people who don't have a relationship with God come along side our family while we are helping another family is a face full of humble pie!
